Just Some Effects of the Rays of the Terribly Beautiful

She is the wing of unbearable
light enchanced by our discontent
made glorious by the sun and
sometimes the mystic river under
a full-lead moon
The dove in all of us
yet orphaned by every other woman
Her rose lettered years
a solitude-drudge
and sometimes street-laughter
too old and wise
A painter presented his painting of her
once apon a dreamland
a long-suffering Queen's daughter
The reckless cheer in our palace
worse for chocolate like
cherries on her china skin
like magic mon amous lour'd
upon her smile
How we gathered 'round her
head-shake and shimmery flight
accomplished and accidental
she became our life
The clear float in murky waters
our darling daring glorious silver
rhapsody delight!
